Hi Ladies,

It's that time again for the Red Tent Temple.

This month we will be working with a New Moon manifestation Ceremony.

This is for our Formal circle, and we will also be sharing more information that we can use monthly when we come into our moontime, or pms, even if pregnant, or starting, finished with menopause. The Maiden, The Mother , The Wise Woman three very important passages in our lives as women ,we are the Divine Feminine.

The Red Tent has organic products on display for girls menarche age and for woman of any cycle, to look at, read about, to see what is available to us as women.

Information is really key here and sharing together, our Rites of Passage are trully so important for us as women. Ways in which we can care for ourselves at home through the month and have knowledge and choices and just to be US!

We love ourselves, we love our daughters, Mothers, Sisters, Grandmothers, and our girlfriends and all women everywhere, may you be blessed...

We are all Sisters, I honor your all Ladies everywhere!

Sunday December 28, 08 Red Tent

Hi everyone it's time again for the
The Red Tent Temple Movement in Milford Ct.

The Red Tent Temple and reinstating the Ancient Moonlodge for today's culture an
inspiration by Alisa Starkweather from the book "The Red Tent", Author Anita Diamant.

The Red Tent Temple is a vision held in the spirit of community as a group to honor our
Sacred Divine Feminine. The intention is that within the space of the Red Tent we care
for one another and be cared for, with healing, nourishment, song, meditation,
storytelling, council, quiet, rest, herbs, and sharing together.

Come to be heard, to heal, to relax and be quiet, share, journal, create healing art, read, utilize the Goddess Oracles, eat healing soup, drink belly teas, receive Reiki energy, have a hand massage, or have your hair brushed. There will be unstructured time from 11:00am-2:30pm.
Formal circle will begin at 2:30pm and is a time for all women 18 and up to share what is in their hearts, as we listen deeply to what she has to say, whatever it is. We laugh, we sing, we cry, and revel in each others company. This is a space to share one story, an insight, a poem, and the storytellers chair is a wonderful place to speak your wisdom if you so choose There is a tears bowl to release our hurts and renew ourselves.. We stop to be heard - we stop to listen- we stop to enjoy this day of our daughters becoming a woman and to nourish and celebrate our womanhood.

All girls Menarche age & up welcome in the Red Tent. Only women 18 and up may come into the formal circle at 2:30pm, so please accommodate for the girls you bring 17 and under at this time.
This is an ongoing monthly event as close as can be to the new moon. Traditionaly this is the time women spent together in their Red Tents or Moonlodges, as women in groups would generally have their menarche time together and at the dark of the moon. We are asking for a donation of $13.00 a person as this helps keep this vision going strong, it helps to pay for the rental space and supplies needed to bring the RTT to us.

A poem inspired by the first Red Tent Temple in Milford

The Red Tent

Today we came together in a specially blessed place,
for fellowship and wisdom, for sisterhood and grace.
Some came with long-felt longing, some, curiosity;
but each was drawn to be there in sacred trinity.

Our trinity, the feminine, of maiden, mother, crone;
so powerful it helps us know that we are not alone.
We shared in conversation, massage and company,
and filled again our well of faith in sweet community.

We drew the sacred circle and filled it from the heart;
the bold, the shy, the in-between, we came to do our part
to send the power up and out while healing from within,
and this bright ring of healing is where we will begin.

We bless each other with our trust, respect our right to be,
because we understand the gift that’s given when we see
that every path is sacred and every walk is true,
and so we honor our own paths as we honor all who do.
